Mission Statement

The Race Minnesota Modified Series (RACEMN) was founded in 2009 with the premise of giving WISSOTA Modifieds, WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, and WISSOTA Mod Fours the opportunity to showcase their talent within the friendly confines of a regional touring series. With the amount of talent in the three open-wheel divisions featured in the series, the fit seemed like a good one for the drivers and facilities involved. The founders of RACEMN convened to come up with a purse structure and point fund that would make the series a viable option for open wheel Modified teams all over WISSOTA country and the tracks that support it. In a day and age where the price to compete has gotten out of hand, the RACEMN Series looks to provide Modified, Midwest Modified, and Mod Four teams the opportunity to compete for a great nightly purse and a generous number of contingency prizes, as well as a tremendous year end point fund.

The goal for RACEMN in 2010 will be to add on to the already tremendous foundation laid by the WISSOTA Promoters Association. All five events on the schedule in 2010 will take place at WISSOTA sanctioned facilities. This will give the drivers involved an Iron-Clad set of rules to level the playing field as well as the opportunity to compete for WISSOTA National points. The biggest goal in 2010, however, will be to provide drivers, fans and sponsors the opportunity to be a part of something special. The people involved with the RACEMN Modified series will go the extra mile to provide an unparallelled fan experience, additional advertising, and unmatched multi-media tools that are already in place with the cooperation of the nationally recognized XR Network.
